We fix what's broken, fast, and we don't disappear after the invoice. Emergency dispatch available across Circleville and the surrounding zip codes.
No automated menus for emergencies — a real person handles the call.
Ask as many questions as you want; we'd rather over-explain than leave you unsure.
If anything feels off after we leave, a follow-up call gets a technician back out to make it right.
Leonard HVAC was built by technicians who got tired of watching homeowners get oversold. Our crews carry manufacturer certifications across the major residential and commercial equipment lines.
You won't find us buried under layers of call-center scripts — we're the company that tells you what actually needs fixing instead of what pads the ticket. Licensing and insurance aren't optional line items for us, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, big or small.
We know which neighborhoods run on older ductwork and which subdivisions were built with newer high-efficiency systems. That local knowledge shapes the parts we stock on the truck — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Ask around Circleville and you'll hear the same complaint about a lot of HVAC companies. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. We'd rather lose a job to a lower bid than win one by cutting corners on the diagnosis, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Circleville is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
Our office team is based locally too, not routed through an out-of-state call center that's never seen a Circleville rooftop unit. It also means faster escalation when something's urgent — a local dispatcher can reroute the nearest truck in minutes, not hours.
Every service below is backed by the same licensing, warranty, and upfront pricing you get on any job we run.
A dead system in the middle of a heat wave or a cold snap isn't just inconvenient — it can be a real safety issue for kids, pets, and older residents. Our Circleville dispatch team prioritizes no-heat and no-cooling calls so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
If a specialty part genuinely does need to be ordered, we'll set up a safe temporary fix and give you a real timeline instead of leaving you guessing.
If your unit is past its expected service life, running loud, or spiking your utility bill, a replacement conversation is worth having. We walk Circleville homeowners through financing and rebate options where available before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
Most installs in Circleville are completed in a single day, and we walk you through the new thermostat and any app controls before we leave.
Downtime in a commercial space costs money every hour a system is offline. Our commercial division services light industrial and warehouse ventilation across Circleville, with after-hours work to avoid disrupting business.
Our commercial techs are trained to work around your customers and staff, scheduling noisy or disruptive work outside peak hours whenever possible.
A seasonal tune-up catches the kind of wear that turns into a mid-summer no-cool call. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle duct cleaning and sealing to stop conditioned air from leaking into attics and crawlspaces for Circleville households that want more than just temperature control.
Maintenance plan members in Circleville get scheduling reminders automatically, so tune-ups don't fall through the cracks during a busy season.
This is the standard every Circleville technician on our team is held to.
If the same issue returns within the warranty period, we come back and fix it at no additional labor cost.
We quote a flat rate before work begins and that number doesn't change once you approve it.
A technician doesn't consider the job done until the system is tested and performing correctly.
Most breakdowns don't happen without warning — they announce themselves for weeks before the system actually quits.
A healthy system runs with a consistent, low hum — banging, screeching, or grinding usually points to a loose part or failing motor.
If some rooms stay hot or cold no matter what the thermostat says, the system may be struggling to distribute air evenly.
A tune-up often identifies exactly what's driving the extra energy use.
Short cycling puts extra wear on the compressor and shortens the system's overall lifespan.
A burning smell should never be ignored — it can indicate an electrical issue that needs immediate attention.
Repeated repairs on an aging system are usually the clearest sign that replacement will save more money than another patch job.
We explain diagnostic fees and repair estimates before authorizing work.
Dispatchers give you a realistic arrival window instead of a vague "sometime today".
If something isn't right after we leave, we come back and make it right.
Every technician carries current state licensing and manufacturer training.
You make the final call — we just make sure you have the full picture.
We'll walk you through what's actually available before you decide.
We don't write these — our customers do.
"The furnace stopped working overnight and someone was at our door before 9am. Fixed on the first visit and explained everything in terms I could actually understand."
"Scheduled a fall tune-up and they caught a cracked part before it became a real problem. Never once felt like I was being upsold on something I didn't need."
"Had a full system replacement done and it was the smoothest home project I've had in years. Would recommend to anyone in Circleville needing a real replacement, not a patch job."
"Commercial dispatch was quick and the tech understood our system without needing to be walked through it. Documentation for our records was thorough and easy to file."
"The estimate matched the final invoice exactly, down to the dollar. Installation crew was in and out in a day and left the space cleaner than they found it."
"The tech walked me through what he was checking as he went, which I really appreciated. Genuinely relieved to have found a crew that answers when it matters."
None of these are unusual or embarrassing — they're just the normal wear and tear that comes with running a system through Circleville's seasonal swings.
Homeowners who schedule a tune-up ahead of each season tend to call us far less often for emergency repairs. Filters should be checked monthly during heavy-use seasons and replaced roughly every 60-90 days depending on your household and any pets.
Simple habits between professional visits also matter. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
Our technicians train across the major residential and commercial equipment lines, so you're not limited to a single brand's service network. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
Every tech on our Circleville roster goes through background checks, licensing verification, and ongoing manufacturer training.
Manufacturer-certified across multiple major residential equipment lines.
Keeps the emergency truck stocked based on what actually fails most often locally.
Focuses on commercial rooftop units, multi-zone systems, and facility maintenance contracts.
For emergency no-heat or no-cool calls, we prioritize dispatch and aim to have a technician on-site the same day, often within a couple of hours.
We explain the diagnostic fee upfront and provide a flat-rate repair quote once the issue is identified.
Our emergency line runs 24 hours a day, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Yes — licensing and insurance documentation is available on request for any job, residential or commercial.
As a general guideline, if a system is past 12-15 years old and facing a costly repair, replacement often makes more financial sense.
Plan members typically see fewer surprise breakdowns because small issues get caught during routine visits.
Our dispatch area extends throughout the greater Circleville region and nearby towns within Circleville, NY.
Property managers and business owners can request a dedicated point of contact for ongoing service.
If parts require special ordering for a less common brand, we'll communicate that timeline upfront.
We understand a full system replacement is a significant expense, which is why flexible payment options exist.
Twice-yearly maintenance is the standard we recommend given the temperature swings the area sees.
Check that the thermostat has power and the batteries aren't dead, and check your breaker panel for a tripped switch before calling.
Ask about current after-hours rates when you call +1-866-805-8548.
Straightforward fixes like a capacitor swap or a thermostat replacement are often finished in well under an hour.
For most residential visits, yes, an adult should be present to grant access and approve any quoted work.
Our technicians are familiar with both, which means less time spent figuring out your specific setup and more time actually fixing the problem.
If you manage several units or a shared system across a Circleville property, ask about setting up a standing service account so every request gets handled under one consistent agreement.
We accept standard payment methods for repairs and smaller jobs, and we'll always tell you upfront what a given service is likely to cost so there's no last-minute scramble to figure out payment. If a rebate or local incentive program applies to your Circleville installation, our technicians will flag it during the estimate rather than leaving you to track it down after the fact.
We dispatch throughout Circleville and the neighboring communities, keeping response times tight because our trucks stay close to home.
Property managers with multiple Circleville addresses can consolidate everything under one account for simpler scheduling and consistent pricing across every location.
